The state of New Jersey is one of the United States most exciting and rewarding destination offering a wide array of things to see and do. Nightlife in New Jersey is renowned as amongst the finest in the world, offering spectacular places such as Atlantic City and Ocean City with their vibrant clubs and casinos.
There are a large number of airports travellers can fly into to get to New Jersey. Newark Liberty International Airport is the busiest airport in the state, although the larger John F. Kennedy International Airport just outside of New Jersey in New York can also be a viable option as it operates more flight routes from international destinations. Philadelphia International Airport is an additional option and runs flights to and from around the world including Europe and the Middle East. The state has extensive public transportation networks that make getting around easy. The NJ Transit bus network operates all over the state, while there are also multiple train networks from New York and Philadelphia.
Despite its relatively small size, New Jersey is one of the most populous states in the United States and has played an important part in its history, including being the site of many crucial battles during the American Revolutionary War. A key centre of the Industrial Revolution, New Jersey underwent significant growth and transformed into a modern and culturally diverse state.
